Did anybody get in?

8 hour wait to play whitefall.. we should have all learned russian. Looks like I can't play with you guys as even IF they make a new server whitefall is going to be packed, currently over 3000 people queuing to play on it

I was, then got dc'ed an kicked off. 15 hour queue ftw

There is couple of ppl on whitefall, but server is too laggy so you cant even quest normal

I'm going to have to suggest we migrate everybody to the first new EU pvp server they open.. whitefall is a lost cause

Most likely I'm going to play on sagespire or newest new 1 they open, definitely no point us trying for whitefall

See, here's the thing. Right now it's a huge queue, but look at it this way. This is a headstart, a lot of people want to play right away. The queue problem will dissipate in a few days, and every MMO has this problem at launch. Another thing is that Trion have to restrict the amount of people online at the start, because let's face it, 25k people logging onto the starter zone in one go will just kill the server or make the game unplayable due to mob respawn and such.

In any case, the problem will vanish.

If you can't wait a few hours to play, and decide to play on another server, you're not guild material. You have to be able to stick to the guild in bad spots, and lets face it. This is a temporary bad spot...

And as for *your not guild material* how does suggesting we wait till a new server opens then jump on it as our new home make me *not guild material*. Seems a bit selfish that people who are level 7 are willing to make everybody else wait hours or days to play just so they don't have to do those 1st few levels again

Oh and sagespire has only 150 for queue.. so its VERY selfish that some people wont abandon a 2 hour old char for a 20min queue so we can all play together, very selfish indeed

I'm in on one account. Not mine, but a friends that I used to secure my names.

On my other computer I haven't been able to get on. Started at 1700 in queue. Got down to 100. Disconnected. Restarted at 4400. Got down to 600. Disconnected. Currently at 2800.

Was fast to get on with the first computer, less than 10 minutes. Hit connect on the second one 1-2 seconds later and no luck.

It's not lost.

Warhammer was the same at start.

Some weeks later they had to consolidate servers cause they were too empty.

All MMOs are like this the first hours.

Ok, first of all, I'm not even in yet, still in the queue. And what I mean by guild material is that we've voted on which server to start on, and decided to play on this server. Another thing you have to take into account is that everyone is reading the forum all the time, which means that people aren't aware that this topic is up for discussion.

As said, every MMO have this problem at launch. The problem later with new servers is that they tend to become less populated than the first ones. In the long run this could mean that if we start on a new server, the server will be shut down due to few people on it.

I have to agree though, that it's been a long queue.

People please bear in mind that the server queues will lessen over the next couple of days.
Not only will there be less people logging in all at once, the actual capacity for the servers will increase. Right now the maximum capacity is capped at a lower point to insure the first zones are not flooded by players. Once players start to move on to the next zone, capacity will be increased lessening the length of the queues.
At least hold out until tomorrow. If the situation stays as it is with queues numbering in the tens of hours we can decide to go to another server at that point.
